Welcome

Building a better future for your child

Brickhill Primary School is a caring community school for children between the ages of four and eleven, situated in a residential area to the north of Bedford. We are a diverse and inclusive school which provides an enjoyable and purposeful learning environment for all pupils.

We actively celebrate pupils’ achievements in all areas of our broad and balanced curriculum, and our goal is to combine excellence in teaching with enjoyment of learning.

The school has been awarded many accreditations for its participation and high standards in a variety of areas including Healthy Schools, Basic Skills in Numeracy and Literacy, Eco School Silver Award and most recently, Gold Sports Mark.

For some years, as a Lower school, we have had a very good reputation for the academic standards that children attain by the time they leave us aged nine. However, from September 2017, as a new Primary School, we are determined not to rest on our past achievements but to continue to meet the highest of standards into Year Six and ensure that all the children are happy, safe and enjoy coming to school.

I have been part of the school since September 2012 and I feel tremendously honoured to serve as Headteacher. I am also very proud of the pupils and staff who work extremely hard every day to strengthen and improve on the learning experience for all.

We are all very excited about the next chapter and if you would like to visit us, we would be very pleased to hear from you and to show you around our school. I trust that your association with us will be a long and happy one.
